Welcome to Doodle Vu! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Doodle Vu application ("the app"). By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Doodle Vu, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Doodle Vu is a daily drawing memory game where players study a target image and then draw it from memory. The app provides scoring, leaderboards, and social features. The service may change over time as we add, modify, or remove features.

3. User Accounts

You may use the app without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Usernames must not be offensive, misleading, or impersonate other individuals.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its systems; interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or servers; use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the app; upload offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content through any app feature; or manipulate scores, leaderboards, or game results through dishonest means.

5. Intellectual Property

All original content, design, graphics, and code within Doodle Vu are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app without prior written permission.

Certain content used in the app is derived from third-party sources under open licenses. In particular, drawing data from the Google Quick, Draw! Dataset is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Additional third-party software components are used under their respective open-source licenses. See the Acknowledgments section in Settings for full attribution details.

6. User-Generated Content

Drawings you create in the app are yours. However, by opting in to "Help Improve Scoring," you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your anonymized drawings for the purpose of improving our scoring system. You may revoke this license at any time by disabling the feature in Settings.

7. In-App Purchases

The app may offer optional in-app purchases such as drawing packs. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the policies of the platform (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store) through which the purchase was made.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of data or scores.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the app.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
